It provides an opportunity to recognise and shine a light on the women who make a real difference within their communities.

The BCWA Inspirational Woman of the Year Award 2026 – Nomination Form

Terms and Conditions

• This award is open for female nominees.  
• You cannot nominate yourself but you may nominate more than one woman on separate forms.  
• The focus of the nomination should be ‘give to gain’ following the theme of International Women’s Day 2026.  
• Nominations should only be made relating to achievements over the last 12 months. 
•  Please make sure that the person you wish to nominate agrees to being nominated and is available on the evening of Saturday 7th March 2025 to receive the award in West Bromwich. 
• You may be asked to support or verify the evidence you provide as part of your nomination. 
• All nominees must live or work in the Black Country. 
• Deadline for nominations is midnight on Friday 13th February 2026. We will not consider any nominations received after the deadline. 
•  The winner will be chosen by a judging panel at Black Country Women’s Aid based on the written nominations only. 
• The decision of the judges is final.  
• The winner will be notified before the event on 7th March 2026, when their award will then be made public.  
• The winner will be expected to participate in publicity, including photography, social media, media release etc.  
• Any prizes are non-transferable.
