Hubtel IT become a Corporate Patron of Lichfield Cathedral
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility drive, Hubtel IT have become a Patron of Lichfield Cathedral, a very important and significant local landmark.
Launched in July, Lichfield Cathedral introduced their Corporate Patrons Scheme in order to give local companies the chance to play a vital role in keeping the cathedral open for generations to come.
Hubtel IT directors, Neil and Joanne Bayliss, attended the recent re-opening ceremony of the cathedral’s Central Spire, which had recently been restored after a year-long restoration project. They were also lucky enough to be taken on a guided Tower Tour which wasn’t for the faint hearted but well worth exploring the winding staircases and hidden roof spaces to enjoy some stunning city views.
Neil said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Lichfield Cathedral in it’s endeavours to keep this very important and historical landmark open for all to enjoy, now and in the future. If you are local to Lichfield then the Tower Tour is highly recommended, as is a visit in general to the cathedral which holds some remarkable ancient artefacts.”
